The Stihl RG-KM reciprocator attachment is a fairly new offering from Stihl. I decided to try these for a couple of reasons. First, I already had a Stihl Kombi head unit that I’ve owned for over a decade. Secondly, I have a pool and wanted something that did not sling grass debris into it.

Precision Instrument!
Yes, this attachment is a precision, well-engineered product. It fits the Kombi head unit flawlessly, and performs even better. In the video below I demonstrate on some over-grown grass.
I let the grass edges go for almost 3 weeks so you can see it on video. Even then, it did not throw any grass in the pool. That is the biggest plus for getting this attachment.
