Soil Hume, Moisture Manager, and Root Hume (S2E14)

With all this rain we’ve been receiving, I took the opportunity to spray some Simple Lawn Solutions (Simple Grow Solutions) Soil Hume and Root Hume. It was also the perfect time to spray down some Moisture Manager by Lesco. The Moisture Manager is a product similar to Hydretain.

I sprayed the following 3 products after about a 10 minute rain.

Soil Hume

Here is some information from their web site:

  • Seaweed Soil Hume is a Humic Acid & Seaweed (Kelp) Blend. Seaweed Soil Hume is capable of retaining and converting soil nutrients into an exchangeable form to be made available for plant growth. This concentrated organic compound encourages root development and plant development. Seaweed Soil Hume also enhances the organic matter content in the soil, which helps improve the cation exchange capacity, where more nutrients in the soil are made available.

I sprayed down one 32 oz jug of Soil Hume on approximately 3,000 sq ft. It is really easy to spray. I really like how you see the brown as you spray.

Lesco Moisture Manager

Here is some information from their web site:

  • Control or Eliminate Dry Spots
  • Improve Seed Germination
  • Enhance Nutrient Efficiency
  • Increase Transplant Survival
  • Optimize Pesticide Efficiency
  • Reduce Watering Expenses

When the heat hits and we lack rain I often get dry spots. This should help prevent that. It will last 3 months so it should get me through the hot July and August months.

Root Hume

Here is some information from their web site:

  • Root Hume encourages the availability and uptake of various nutrients such as Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, and other Micronutrients. Root Hume is capable of retaining and converting soil nutrients into an exchangeable form to be made available for plant growth. This concentrated organic compound encourages root development and plant development. Root Hume also enhances the organic matter content in the soil, which helps improve the cation exchange capacity, where more nutrients in the soil are made available.

I also sprayed down one 32 oz jug of Root Hume.

In conclusion, we received a nice rain shortly after applying all three products. This should maximize the effectiveness of these products.
