Last Reel Mow – A Classical Farewell (S1E22)

As Autumn approaches my Bermudagrass lawn decides that it is time for a nap, thus my last reel mow. It’s been a great season for my lawn. Over the past several months my lawn has gone from sparse, weed infected grounds to a lush green turf. I couldn’t be happier in how my lawn has transformed.

I share a few of my favorites from the past mowing season below:

Favorite Mower

Well, that one is a little obvious. It’s the Allett Kensington 20H. I purchase the Allett at the beginning of the season. I have really enjoyed the Scarification process, and cutting the lawn lower than it’s ever been. It did not disappoint! I have never received so many compliments about my yard before this year.

Favorite Fertilizer

GreenTRX has been my go-to fertilizer this year. Check out my page and video here. It’s a 16-1-2 NPK ratio, and has really served a vital role in greening up my lawn. It has a small prill size and is bio-solid based. The price can’t be beat!!

Last Reel Mow

My last reel mow of the season was done in the middle of October. Temperatures have begun to drop, and my lawn is entering dormancy.
