It’s time for a Bermuda Grass spring wakeup! In my last video I used the scarify cartridge to clean out all of the debris from the turf. In this video I plan to bring down the height of cut to .75″.
Reel Mow
You may be wondering why I chose to scarify before reel mowing the lawn lower. Well, the answer is easy. Over the Winter my lawn has accumulated quite a bit of debris. Everything from sticks and straw to pinecones and acorns. My rotary mower was able to collect the large items like twigs and pinecones, but the small debris that has fallen below the canopy was still there. That is where my scarify cartridge comes to play!
In this video I only had time to do a single pass with the 6 blade reel cartridge in my Allett Kensington 20H. The yard really cleaned up well with a single pass.
